Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food quality and safety, and maintaining efficient restaurant operations. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a positive work environment and driving team performance. Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to enhance team performance. Supervise food preparation and presentation to maintain high-quality standards. Handle inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Implement effective cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy in financial transactions. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Conduct interviews and hire new staff members as necessary to build a strong team. Monitor budgetary performance and implement cost-control measures as needed. Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling practices. Requirements Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary experience. Familiarity with quick service & fast food environments as well as fine dining establishments is preferred. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Proficient in inventory control and budgeting processes. Experience with cash handling procedures and financial reporting. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
