Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Food and Beverage Manager ensures that Members and guests have a pleasant and memorable dining experience. They monitor setup, maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of dining areas. They supervise and train the dining room staff to Heritage Bay Golf and Country Club's standards of excellence. They are the Manager on Duty in the absence of the Food and Beverage Director and Clubhouse Manager. They complete opening and closing duties/checklists in a timely fashion. They coordinate food service between the kitchen and dining staff. The Food and Beverage Manager enforces the Club's rules and policies. The Food and Beverage Manager reports directly to the Food and Beverage Director with additional reporting responsibilities to the General Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Food and Beverage Manager's essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: An ability to work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail and to multi-task A desire to create the ultimate dining experience Consistent management of the restaurant to a definitive Heritage Bay Golf and Country Club standards Good leadership and supervisory abilities, including teaching and motivation Communication skills and an ability to promote sales Time management skills Excellent service with a willingness to go out of your way to accommodate the Members and exceed their expectations Flexibility and the ability to meet the changing needs of the Club and the Members A high level of professionalism and effective communication Enthusiasm for the job and for the Club Proficiency in considerate and patient training and a willingness to help fellow employees Exuding a good self-image and the ability to warrant the respect of the employees Able to tolerate pressure and work calmly and efficiently during busy periods Comfort in remedying Member complaints in accordance with Club policies and procedures Maintaining a daily discipline of inspecting service consistency and behaviors to the desired standards Embodying the utmost level of work ethic, personal morals, and honesty beyond reproach. Maintain a professional appearance appropriate for a premier country club
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
(KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND
ABILITIES
) Management experience with proven leadership qualities in quality-driven food and beverage operations; minimum of 3 years of service in a leadership position Resort F&B, Banquet, Sommelier, or Country Club experience is preferred Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual The drive to provide exceptional Member service Full-time flexible hours are required (able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays)
Secondary Responsibilities:
Completes administrative duties, including forecast, revenue tracking, shift reports, payroll, scheduling, and daily correspondence Understands and communicates financial objectives and results Effectively responds to Member and staff needs Delegates efficiently
Technical Requirements:
Jonas Point of Sale Terminal experience Payroll software experience Reservation software experience Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Pay:
$55,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
