Field Runner and Assistant (Restoration)

Operations Assistant / Field Runner Restoration (1099 Independent Contractor) Position Overview Mold and Water Florida Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Operations Assistant / Field Runner to support daily business operations. This role focuses on handling essential tasks that keep jobs moving efficiently, including material runs, equipment organization, and general operational support. This is a 1099 independent contractor position best suited for someone who is organized, proactive, and looking to gain experience in the restoration industry. Reporting Structure This role reports directly to the Owner for task coordination, priorities, and daily communication. Scope of Work Perform operational support tasks as requested, including: Material and supply pickups (The Home Depot and other vendors) Dump runs and debris disposal Transporting equipment and materials between job sites and warehouse Maintain organization of: Warehouse Equipment and tools Company vehicles and work vans Clean, stock, and prepare vehicles for daily operations Assist with basic job site preparation when needed Ensure all tools and materials are accounted for and ready for use Key Traits We Value Strong attention to detail Ability to follow direction and execute efficiently Reliable and punctual Organized and takes pride in clean work Quick learner with a strong work ethic Positive attitude and willingness to grow Growth Opportunity This position offers the opportunity to grow into: Water Mitigation Technician Crew Lead Operations / Project Support Compensation Hourly (1099 contractor) - based on experience Consistent workflow based on company needs Opportunity for increased responsibility and earnings Contractor Requirements Must operate as a 1099 independent contractor Responsible for own taxes Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Physically capable of lifting, loading, and working in field environments Ability to travel locally between job sites and warehouse Work Arrangement Flexible scheduling based on availability and project needs Tasks assigned as needed; contractor maintains discretion in how work is completed Independent Contractor Notice This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not a W-2 employee position.
