Job Description

We're looking for an energetic, hands-on Assistant General Manager to help lead one of our unique independent hotels. This isn't a corporate cookie-cutter environment. Our hotels have personality, character, and a commitment to creating memorable guest experiences - and we're looking for someone who brings that same spirit to work every day. Job Overview As Assistant General Manager, you'll be the General Manager's right hand and a key leader within the hotel. You'll help keep operations running smoothly while inspiring your team to deliver exceptional hospitality. Responsibilities Leading and supporting front desk, housekeeping, and hotel operations teams Coaching and developing employees to help them succeed Resolving guest concerns and turning challenges into positive experiences Monitoring hotel performance, service standards, and operational efficiency Assisting with budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and revenue goals Helping create a positive, engaging workplace culture Requirements Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum 2 years of hotel supervisory or management experience. Previous experience in front office, guest services, operations, or department leadership roles preferred. Experience managing teams, scheduling staff, and overseeing daily hotel operations. Independent hotel experience is a plus. Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills. Passion for delivering exceptional guest service and resolving guest concerns. Knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and property management systems. Ability to multitask, solve problems, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Experience with scheduling, staffing, budgeting, and operational performance. Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Professional, positive attitude with a hands-on approach to leadership.
