Cooking Experience Required! Management Experience min 1 year. We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Restaurant Manager to lead our dynamic food service team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and maintain high standards of food safety and quality. Your leadership will drive team performance, streamline processes, and foster a welcoming environment that keeps guest coming back. Manager Role & Responsibilities 1. Kitchen Operations & Food Production Oversee grill production, including cooking, leading, and coaching staff Ensure proper food handling, labeling, and FIFO (First In, First Out) practices Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas (equipment, coolers, prep areas) 2. Health & Safety Compliance Maintain constant readiness for health inspections Enforce sanitation standards across all areas (kitchen and front-of-house) Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and internal procedures 3. Staff Management & Leadership Supervise daily staff performance through coaching, delegation, and direction Conduct hiring, onboarding, disciplinary actions, and terminations as needed Lead team meetings and maintain clear communication of expectations Assign and follow up on daily tasks, including: Cleaning (tables, chairs, counters, windows, displays) Dishwashing support Food prep (wrapping meats, stocking, etc.) Manage employee call-offs and shift coverage, ensuring proper staffing levels Facilitate staff participation in finding shift replacements when required 4. Customer Experience Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through active floor presence Engage with guests and resolve issues promptly Delegate front-of-house staff to follow up with customers and maintain service standards 5. POS & Administrative Systems Maintain proficiency in the Square POS system , including: Running sales reports Processing refunds Issuing gift cards Always keep an updated copy of the bi-weekly schedule accessible Check and respond to messages daily 6. Inventory & Ordering Maintain awareness of all inventory (stockroom and floor) Place and manage orders with vendors, including: Ben E. Keith Amavida Dade Bread Co. Dawn BakeMark Verify all deliveries against invoices for accuracy Communicate with vendors regarding discrepancies, shortages, or pricing changes 7. Financial Responsibilities Ensure safe cash balance and make change as needed Prepare and complete cash deposits Pay vendors and properly document invoices as paid (include check numbers for tracking) 8. Procurement & Additional Duties Purchase supplemental products from stores such as Sam's Club and Walmart as needed Support multi-unit operations if applicable (assist at other locations with management duties) Accountability Statement Managers are expected to delegate tasks effectively; however, they are ultimately responsible for ensuring all duties are completed accurately and to standard.
