Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to assist the Chef and lead our back-of-house operations. Key Responsibilities Assist the Chef in all aspects of kitchen leadership and step in to perform all cooking and management duties when the Chef is absent. Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, quality control, and service efficiency. Maintain strict compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Hire, train, schedule, and manage kitchen staff to ensure high performance and teamwork. Manage inventory, ordering, portion control, and cost control to meet budget and quality standards. Collaborate with the Chef and management team on menu development, specials, and operational improvements. Qualifications Previous kitchen management or lead cook experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred. Strong cooking skills with the ability to execute all kitchen stations and recipes. Thorough knowledge of food safety practices and inventory management. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evening and weekend availability. Must have current ServSafe Food Manager Certification. Serious inquiries only please. Pay will be based on experience. The candidate must be able to work flexible hours. While this position is mainly an evening shift, there may be some day shifts necessary.
