This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, enjoys working with clients, and has a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences. Position Overview The Banquet Manager / Event Coordinator serves as the bridge between sales, clients, and operations, ensuring every event is executed flawlessly from planning through completion. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple events simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude and sense of urgency. ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning & Client Management Serve as the primary point of contact for clients after booking Coordinate weddings, corporate events, banquets, fundraisers, and private parties Conduct planning meetings and communicate event details with clients Develop event timelines, room layouts, and execution plans Ensure all event details, contracts, and client expectations are clearly communicated Banquet & Event Execution Oversee event setup, service, and breakdown Manage banquet staff during events to ensure exceptional service delivery Coordinate with kitchen, bar, entertainment, and operations teams Troubleshoot issues quickly and professionally during events Ensure events are executed according to company standards Team Leadership Supervise banquet staff and event personnel Assist with scheduling and staffing for events Train team members on service standards and event expectations Foster a positive and professional work environment Administrative & Operational Support Maintain event calendars and planning documents Ensure accurate event orders and client information Assist with inventory and event supply management Support event sales efforts through excellent client service and referrals QualificationsRequired 2+ years of banquet management, event coordination, hospitality, or restaurant management experience Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure Experience managing staff and coordinating multiple priorities Proficiency with Microsoft Office and event management systems Preferred Wedding, banquet, catering, or hospitality experience Experience in restaurants, country clubs, hotels, or entertainment venues Familiarity with event software or CRM systems Strong understanding of food and beverage operations Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Bonus opportunities PTO Health insurance Employee dining discounts Growth opportunities within a successful and expanding hospitality organization If you enjoy hospitality, events, weddings, entertainment, and creating exceptional experiences, we'd love to hear from you.
