Job Overview:
Nomikai is seeking an experienced Restaurant Assistant General Manager Advanced Liquor, Beer, Wine, Sake knowledge to assist with developing our beverage program. (preferred, not required) Fluent with Microsoft. Fosters mentorship mentality to lead front-of-house daily operations. Establishes floor presence to guide our team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Thrives in a fast-paced, upscale dining environment. Passionate about hospitality.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficiency and excellence in service. Lead, train, and motivate the FOH team to uphold company standards. Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate priorities, guest notes, and daily goals. Monitor guest satisfaction, address concerns, and implement service improvements. Oversee scheduling, labor management, and inventory control. Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar teams to maintain smooth operations. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment at all times. Analyze guest feedback and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume or upscale establishment. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Knowledge of Japanese cuisine, hand rolls, and sake is preferred but not required. Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Proficiency in POS systems and advanced computer skills.
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
