Assistant Manager - Restaurant

Assistant Manager - Busy Gastropub We're looking for a hands-on, experienced Assistant Manager to support our current management team in a fast-paced, high-volume gastropub environment. This is a dynamic role suited to someone who thrives on the floor, leads by example, and understands all aspects of running a successful venue. Key Responsibilities:

Support day-to-day operations across floor and bar Work closely with the management team to ensure smooth service Lead and motivate staff during busy shifts Deliver excellent guest experiences and handle customer queries Troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively in a fast-moving environment Oversee walk-in maintenance and general upkeep of the premises Assist with staff supervision, training, and scheduling Carry out light administrative duties as required

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar management or supervisory role in restaurant industry Strong knowledge of general restaurant and bar operations Confident working both front-of-house and behind the bar Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to stay calm under pressure and make quick decisions Flexible, reliable, and team-focused Open availability required. Pay:

$65,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
