Front of House Manager Duties:

• Oversee the daily operations of the front of house area, including the dining room, bar, and host/host station
• Ensure excellent customer service by training and supervising front of house staff
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner
• Monitor inventory levels of supplies and place orders as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area

Skills:

• Experience in the hotel, catering, or food industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of food service management principles and practices
• Understanding of food safety regulations and ability to enforce them
• Proficient in food preparation techniques and able to assist when necessary
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team
• Effective shift management to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
