About Filibuster Filibuster is a hidden speakeasy and modern Italian bistro dedicated to exceptional cocktails, handcrafted cuisine, and unforgettable guest experiences. We're seeking an energetic, dependable, and hospitality-driven Assistant Manager to help lead our team and maintain the high standards that make Filibuster unique. Responsibilities Assist in the daily operations of the restaurant and bar. Lead and motivate front-of-house staff while ensuring exceptional guest service. Support kitchen and bar operations to ensure smooth service. Open and close the restaurant following company procedures. Assist with scheduling, training, and coaching team members. Help manage labor, inventory, and operational efficiency. Resolve guest concerns professionally and create memorable experiences. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail throughout the restaurant. Work alongside ownership to improve operations and grow the business. Qualifications Previous restaurant management or leadership experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Nights, weekends, and holiday availability required. Experience with POS systems and basic restaurant reporting is preferred. ServSafe certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
