Marco's Pizza is looking for a motivated, energetic Assistant Restaurant Manager to help lead our team and run daily operations. In this role, you will be the General Manager's right hand. You will lead shifts, coach the crew, and ensure every guest receives an incredible pizza with fast, friendly service. If you love a fast-paced environment and take pride in serving high-quality food, this is the perfect spot for you. Key Responsibilities1. Shift Leadership & Operations Run day-to-day shifts effectively, managing the crew, delegating tasks, and ensuring fast order ticket times. Lead by example on the line—stretch fresh dough, sauce and cheese pizzas, work the oven, and wrap orders efficiently. Maintain Marco's high standards for Product, Service, and Image (PSI) during your shifts. Ensure the kitchen is kept exceptionally clean, organized, and compliant with all food safety guidelines. 2. Team Support & Coaching Supervise, motivate, and direct a shift crew of inside staff and delivery drivers. Assist the GM in training new team members on food preparation, guest service, and safety standards. Handle customer compliments or complaints with professionalism, ensuring every guest leaves happy. 3. Inventory & Cash Control Assist with opening or closing procedures, including cash drawer reconciliation, safe drops, and paperwork. Help monitor food waste, track inventory levels, and ensure proper product rotation (FIFO). Ensure delivery driver check-outs are handled accurately and securely.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
1+ years of supervisor or shift leader experience in a restaurant, kitchen, or fast-food environment (Pizza experience is a huge plus!).
Age/Legal:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Skills:
Strong communication skills, basic math proficiency, and familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
Availability:
Flexible schedule, with open availability for nights, weekends, and peak holiday rushes.
Drive:
A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the desire to learn and grow within the company.
Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
