POSITION SUMMARY
The Restaurant & Events Manager is responsible for overseeing all Front-of-House food and beverage operations for Tuscawilla Country Club, including restaurant service, banquet service, member events, staff development, and daily operational leadership. This position serves as the primary operational leader for restaurant and banquet service teams, ensuring exceptional member and guest experiences while maintaining labor efficiency, service standards, and profitability.
RESPONSIBILITY HIGHLIGHTS
Restaurant Operations Oversee daily operations of The Oaks Restaurant Ensure consistent service standards and member satisfaction Monitor dining room service quality Address member concerns and service recovery Maintain restaurant cleanliness and presentation standards Develop and enforce opening and closing procedures Staff Leadership Recruit, hire, onboard, and train all FOH employees Conduct ongoing staff development and coaching Create employee schedules based on business levels and labor budgets Manage performance expectations and accountability Foster a positive and professional service culture Banquet Operations Lead FOH banquet execution for weddings, corporate events, and private functions Develop banquet staffing plans and assignments Train banquet service staff Serve as "Event Manager" for major events as needed (Mainly Weddings) (additional compensation provided) Coordinate (by staffing and delegating/ assigning tasks for) event execution with the Director of Sales and Kitchen Manager Ensure all banquet setups meet event specifications Member Events Coordinate operational execution of club-hosted social events Serve as "Event Coordinator" for Member specific events (additional compensation provided) Manage staffing and service plans for member events Assist with event logistics and execution Support the growth and success of member engagement initiatives Inventory & Beverage Management Conduct liquor, beer, wine, and beverage inventories Maintain beverage pars and inventory controls Create order recommendations and purchasing lists Monitor beverage costs and usage trends Coordinate beverage needs with the General Manager Manager on Duty (MOD) Serve as Closing Manager on assigned shifts Handle member concerns and service recovery Ensure proper cash handling procedures Complete daily closing reports Maintain operational oversight during evening service Administrative Responsibilities Maintain and update FOH training materials and SOPs Develop and update service standards Monitor labor performance and scheduling efficiency Assist with budgeting and operational planning Participate in management meetings

COMPENSATION
Salary Range:
$55,000 annually, with the ability to earn service gratuities
Additional Compensation:
Participation in banquet gratuity pool for Member Events Event lead opportunities Club & Health benefits
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred:
2+ years of restaurant management experience Banquet or event operations experience Experience hiring and training staff Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Experience with POS and scheduling systems Ideal Candidate Hospitality-focused Organized and detail-oriented Strong problem solver Comfortable leading teams in fast-paced environments Passionate about member and guest experiences
Pay:
$55,000.00 per year
