Responsibilities Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures. Supervise staff performance, providing coaching, training, and development to ensure excellent food service and customer satisfaction. Manage shift schedules, coordinate staff assignments, and ensure smooth workflow during busy hours. Ensure food preparation and presentation meet quality standards while adhering to food safety regulations and hygiene protocols. Handle POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and reconciliation. Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock ordering, and control food costs through effective inventory management. Support kitchen management by supervising food production processes, maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring timely delivery of orders. Conduct staff interviews and participate in hiring decisions to build a strong team aligned with our service standards. Enforce health and safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety. Assist with budgeting tasks and contribute to achieving financial targets for the restaurant. Qualifications Proven experience in food service management or supervisory roles within fine dining or casual dining experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking procedures, and kitchen operations. Hands-on experience with POS systems cash handling skills are essential. Demonstrated leadership abilities with previous staff training, team management, and supervising experience. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and health regulations relevant to the food industry. Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management is preferred.
