In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience while maintaining operational excellence. Responsibilities Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and staff supervision to ensure smooth and efficient workflows. Oversee inventory control, food management, and cost control measures to maximize profitability while maintaining high-quality standards. Supervise and train staff on food handling, customer service, POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations. Manage shift schedules, coordinate team activities, and oversee kitchen management to deliver exceptional dining experiences across casual dining, quick service, or fine dining environments. Handle cash management duties including cash handling procedures, balancing registers, and preparing financial reports. Implement staff training and development programs focusing on food safety, culinary skills, hospitality management, and customer service excellence. Foster a positive team environment through effective interviewing, hiring practices, performance evaluations, and ongoing coaching. Ensure adherence to food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and health regulations to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff. Collaborate with the culinary team on food production, catering events, banquet services, or bar operations as needed. Monitor guest feedback and resolve issues promptly to uphold the restaurant's reputation for outstanding service. Qualifications Proven management experience in the food industry with a strong background in restaurant management or hospitality management. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking processes, and kitchen operations. Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling procedures essential. Demonstrated supervising experience with team management skills; capable of training staff effectively. Experience in managing inventory control, budgeting, and food safety compliance within casual dining or fine dining settings. Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills; comfortable interviewing candidates and developing teams. Knowledge of food industry standards including catering, bar operations, coffee or barista experience is a plus.
