  • Full-time Our vibrant Latino chef-driven restaurant located at the Battery is looking for a Manager with strong hospitality and leadership skills with a love for Latin culture.
The Manager is responsible for leading the Front of House (FOH) team, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and supporting the restaurant's operational and financial goals. This role requires strong leadership, communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, dynamic environment and hands on managment. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily FOH operations, including hosts, servers, bartenders, runners, and bussers. Ensure top-level guest service, resolving complaints and maintaining high hospitality standards. Coordinate with the Kitchen Manager and Chef to align service timing and food quality. Train, coach, and motivate FOH team members, reinforcing restaurant culture and service standards. Oversee reservations, special events, and service flow to maximize guest satisfaction. Support financial goals by monitoring sales, labor costs, and FOH efficiency. Conduct line-ups and team meetings to review daily goals, specials, and service updates. Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and alcohol service regulations. Candidate Profile Previous leadership experience in restaurants, preferably in high-volume operations. Strong communication, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to manage pressure while ensuring team and guest satisfaction. Basic understanding of financial metrics (sales, labor %, budget, ). Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Flexible availability, including evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Performance Objectives Maintain a minimum of 4.5-star rating across guest review platforms. Resolve customer complaints . Achieve and maintain FOH labor cost within budgeted . Ensure 90% of servers meet or exceed monthly goals. Promote teamwork and cross-training across FOH roles.
