$60,000 per year + Performance-Based Bonus Opportunities About Full Tilt Full Tilt is an energetic, chef-driven noodle bar coming to Broadway in Downtown Columbus. Inspired by the ramen shops, noodle houses, izakayas, and street food culture of Japan, Korea, and Sichuan China, Full Tilt combines bold flavors, handmade hospitality, and an exceptional beverage program under one roof. Our menu centers around ramen, Japanese noodle dishes, Korean-inspired specialties, Sichuan influences, and a carefully curated cocktail, beer, sake, wine, and spirits program. We aim to be approachable, fun, and consistently excellent while creating a workplace where hospitality professionals can build meaningful careers. We're looking for a General Manager who can help launch and grow the concept from day one while creating a culture that guests and employees want to be part of. Position Summary The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, success, and profitability of Full Tilt Noodle Bar. This role oversees every aspect of the business, including guest experience, financial performance, team development, food and beverage operations, training, and facility management. The GM will work closely with ownership and culinary leadership to establish operational systems, build a high-performing team, and ensure Full Tilt becomes one of Columbus' premier dining and bar destinations. Compensation & Benefits Compensation $60,000 annual salary Quarterly performance-based bonus opportunities Benefits Healthcare contribution/match 401(k) retirement plan Paid Time Off (PTO) Employee dining discounts Ongoing training and professional development Annual performance reviews with bonus incentives Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop all front-of-house managers and staff Create a positive, high-performance workplace culture Lead daily pre-shift meetings and ongoing staff education Coach managers and team members through regular feedback and performance evaluations Establish hospitality standards that reflect the Full Tilt brand Restaurant Operations Oversee all daily restaurant operations, including dining room, bar, takeout, and guest experience Ensure consistency in service, cleanliness, food quality, and beverage execution Develop systems and procedures that improve efficiency and guest satisfaction Lead service during high-volume periods and special events Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally Financial Management Drive sales growth and profitability Manage labor, food, beverage, and controllable costs Analyze sales reports, labor performance, and financial statements Develop action plans to improve profitability and operational performance Monitor inventory controls and purchasing practices Food & Beverage Program Partner with culinary leadership to maintain food quality and consistency Support execution of ramen, noodle, and specialty menu offerings Oversee one of the city's most dynamic beverage programs, including: Craft cocktails Japanese whisky Sake Asian-inspired cocktails Beer and wine selections Ensure staff are knowledgeable about menu items and beverage offerings Opening & Growth Responsibilities Assist with pre-opening hiring and training Help establish opening procedures and operational systems Participate in menu rollouts, training programs, and launch initiatives Support marketing efforts and community engagement Build a strong team culture from the ground up Facilities & Compliance Maintain restaurant cleanliness, safety, and organization Ensure compliance with health department and alcohol service regulations Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and vendor relationships Protect company assets through proper operational controls Qualifications Required 3+ years of restaurant management experience Proven success leading teams in a high-volume hospitality environment Strong understanding of labor management, inventory controls, and restaurant financials Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays ServSafe Manager Certification (or ability to obtain) Preferred Experience with ramen, Asian cuisine, noodle concepts, or chef-driven restaurants Experience opening new restaurants or hospitality concepts Strong craft cocktail, sake, beer, and wine knowledge Experience with reservation and POS systems Passion for food, beverage, and hospitality culture Schedule Minimum 45 hours per week Five-day workweek minimum Nights, weekends, and holiday availability required Additional hours may be required during opening and training periods What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who wants to build something special.
