We're a lively spot where locals and college students come to relax, watch the game, and enjoy great food. Our goal is to create a welcoming, fun environment for everyone who walks through our doors. We are looking for a passionate staff that understands that they are the key to a great guest experience.
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, managing staff, and driving operational efficiency. In this role, you will handle everything from financial reporting to staff training, helping to create a high-performing team and a welcoming environment for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
Prepare and analyze food/alcohol cost reports to optimize cost control and profitability Assist with budgeting and sales forecasting to meet monthly and yearly financial goals
Human Resources:
Oversee new hire paperwork and onboarding processes for all employees Manage payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
Staff Management & Scheduling:
Create and maintain staff schedules that align with business needs Oversee staff training and development to ensure high performance and adherence to standards Provide leadership and mentorship to the team, fostering a positive and efficient work environment
Operations & Ordering:
Manage inventory and ordering, ensuring the bar and kitchen are fully stocked while controlling waste and cost Implement and refine processes to boost operational efficiency, ensuring that guests receive timely and high-quality service
Guest Satisfaction:
Monitor and address guest feedback to ensure a high level of satisfaction Create initiatives to continuously improve the guest experience and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
Sales & Marketing:
Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and execute strategies that boost sales and revenue Assist in developing promotions, events, and campaigns that engage the community and attract more guests
Process Improvement:
Continuously assess and improve processes in both front-of-house and back-of-house operations to streamline efficiency and boost the guest experience Innovate new methods to enhance team performance, reduce costs, and create a seamless operational flow
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a management or supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry Strong knowledge of food cost management, inventory control, and financial reporting Experience in payroll processing and scheduling Proven ability to train, mentor, and lead a team in a fast-paced environment Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle guest complaints with professionalism Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team collaboration Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make decisions quickly Proficient with restaurant management software and basic office tools like MS Excel and POS systems
