Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant Manager to join our vibrant restaurant team! In this dynamic role, you will lead daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and support the management team in maintaining a high-performing, efficient, and welcoming environment. Your passion for food, hospitality, and team leadership will drive the success of our restaurant. All roles are paid positions, emphasizing the importance of valuing every team member's contribution. Duties Assist the management team in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service flow, and staff coordination Supervise and train staff on food handling, customer service standards, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), and safety protocols Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the restaurant Manage inventory control processes to minimize waste and optimize stock levels for food and beverage items Support shift management by coordinating schedules, monitoring performance, and ensuring smooth service during busy hours Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures and balancing registers at shift end Contribute to food production and kitchen management by assisting with cooking, food presentation, and quality control Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles within quick service or fast food restaurants Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training, development, and team management skills Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management practices Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Hospitality industry experience including casual dining or fine dining environments is highly desirable Join us to lead with energy and enthusiasm!
