Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment. This role is essential in ensuring exceptional food quality, maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness, and delivering outstanding customer service. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for managing staff, controlling inventory, and ensuring efficient food production to meet the demands of our lively dining atmosphere. Duties Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members to foster a motivated and skilled workforce Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and presentation to ensure consistency with quality standards Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen area Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems and oversee cash handling procedures during shifts Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet restaurant demands during peak hours Assist in menu planning, food production, catering events, and special banquet services to enhance customer satisfaction Skills Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurants Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and inventory tracking Proven ability in supervising staff, conducting training & development programs, and managing team performance Excellent understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques Skilled in restaurant management tasks such as budgeting, shift management, customer service excellence, and food cost control Experience with fine dining or casual dining environments; banquet or catering experience is a plus Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams, interview candidates, and foster a positive work environment Join us as a Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary operations with energy and enthusiasm!
