Job Summary "Come work towards Ownership" Well-established pizzeria in historic Dahlonega, GA Our pizzeria is searching for a hands‑on Pizza Chef Restaurant Manager who loves great food, great people, and great leadership. Responsibilities Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring all pizza preparation and food production meet quality standards and safety regulations Supervise and train kitchen staff on food handling, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols to foster a skilled and efficient team Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability Oversee POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling, order processing, and sales reporting Coordinate shift management, including scheduling staff, overseeing customer service, and ensuring smooth restaurant flow during peak hours Maintain compliance with food safety standards and conduct regular kitchen inspections to uphold health regulations Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction strategies Experience Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments, particularly in pizza or casual dining settings Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management with a focus on pizza production Prior supervisory or management experience in hospitality or food service industries, including staff training and team leadership Familiarity with POS systems for transaction processing and reporting Demonstrated ability to handle cash accurately and manage inventory effectively Experience with food safety management practices, including HACCP procedures and health inspections Knowledge of catering, banquet service, or hotel food operations is a plus Excellent communication skills with the ability to interview candidates, train staff, and resolve customer concerns confidently Join our energetic team where your culinary skills combined with leadership talent will create an inviting atmosphere for guests while fostering a motivated work environment.
