Job Description
Overview LifeCafe Operations Manager is responsible for the overall operations and performance of a LifeCafe location, typically operating at lower monthly revenue volume. This hands-on leadership role ensures high-quality execution of menu items, team development, financial accountability, and outstanding member experiences. The LifeCafe Lead models business ownership by actively managing daily operations, driving results, and cultivating a strong team and service culture. Duties Oversee daily cafe operations, including food preparation, service flow, and customer engagement to ensure a lively and welcoming atmosphere Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to foster a motivated and skilled team capable of delivering outstanding service Supervise food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation Control inventory levels through accurate tracking and ordering to minimize waste and optimize food costs Lead shift management by coordinating kitchen activities, supervising staff performance, and resolving operational issues swiftly Implement quality control measures for food production, presentation, and customer service to uphold brand standards Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurant environments Strong background in restaurant management with supervisory experience in hospitality or casual dining settings Expertise in POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; adept at cash handling and sales reporting Excellent team management skills with experience in staff training, interviewing, and development Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures for maintaining hygiene and sanitation in busy kitchens Ability to handle inventory control efficiently while managing budgets and minimizing waste Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences Leadership qualities that motivate teams, manage shift operations smoothly, and foster a collaborative work environment Experience with catering, banquet services or hotel food operations is a plus; familiarity with coffee or barista services is advantageous Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting Embark on this exciting journey where your leadership fuels our cafe's success!
