Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Restaurant Manager to lead our dynamic food service team. Duties Manage daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, shift scheduling, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance skills in food handling, customer service, and kitchen management. Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring quality standards are met consistently across all menu items. Utilize POS systems such as Toast POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Control inventory levels through effective stock management and ordering to minimize waste while maintaining product availability. Supervise kitchen activities including food production, cooking techniques, and maintaining cleanliness in line with health regulations. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience. Monitor budget adherence and implement cost-control measures related to food costs and labor expenses. Conduct staff interviews, performance evaluations, and manage scheduling to optimize team productivity. Support catering events, banquet services, or bar operations as needed to diversify revenue streams. Requirements Proven management experience within the food industry, ideally in quick service & fast food restaurants or fine dining environments. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary standards, and food safety protocols. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing and inventory control. Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising teams, training staff, and managing shift operations effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally. Familiarity with kitchen management practices including food handling, food production, and sanitation standards. Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and implement operational improvements. Previous experience in hospitality management or restaurant experience is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
