Responsibilities Lead and supervise all aspects of food service operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices. Oversee cash handling procedures and operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS with accuracy and integrity. Train, develop, and evaluate staff members to ensure excellent customer service, proper food handling, and adherence to safety protocols. Coordinate shift management to ensure smooth daily operations, including supervising staff schedules and resolving any operational issues promptly. Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards to guarantee a safe dining environment for students and staff. Collaborate with school administration to plan catering events, special meals, or banquets while managing budgets effectively. Experience Proven management experience in a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment with a focus on food service management. Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within casual dining or cafeteria settings. Demonstrated supervising experience with team management, training & development initiatives, and interviewing prospective staff members. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control practices, and budgeting within the food industry. Experience working in hospitality management or hotel settings is advantageous but not required; culinary experience across various food service sectors is highly valued. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
