This role involves managing staff, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food management and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily cafeteria operations, including food preparation and service. Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a well-functioning team. Oversee food production processes to maintain quality and consistency in menu items. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment. Collaborate with the dietary department to develop nutritious meal plans that meet dietary needs. Handle customer service inquiries and feedback to enhance the dining experience. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted service. Implement cost control measures to optimize budget management while maintaining quality. Qualifications Proven experience in food management or a similar role within the food service industry. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations. Experience in food preparation and production, preferably in a cafeteria or restaurant setting. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to address customer needs effectively. Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Familiarity with dietary requirements and nutrition is a plus. Bartending experience is an advantage but not required. Candidates who possess these skills will be well-equipped to thrive in this dynamic role, contributing significantly to the success of our cafeteria operations.
