Hsu Hospitality manages Sweet Auburn BBQ, Tio Lucho's Peruvian and Gezzo's West Coast Burritos. The founders also are owner-partners at Michelin starred Lazy Betty. These concepts have accolades including James Beard nominations, Best of Atlanta Magazine and top restaurants in Eater, AJC.com and more. Hsu Hospitality is a local family-owned restaurant group with over 3 decades of combined restaurant experience. You will work directly with the owners and your voice will be heard. We are looking for a experienced General Manager with a passion to serve, and is a self motivated leader and problem solver! Our ideal candidate has proven experience in restaurant management, preferably in an independently owned, chef-driven restaurant as an experienced operator with fine dining or elevated dining experience.
Job Summary:
As a General Manager with Hsu Hospitality, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of one of our restaurants and ensuring its success. You will lead a team of dedicated staff members, maintain the highest standards of service and quality, and contribute to the achievement of revenue and profitability goals. Your role will encompass various aspects of restaurant management, from customer satisfaction to staff training, financial planning, and marketing.
Qualification:
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate the team Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers, staff, and suppliers Financial acumen to manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and implement cost-control measures In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Ability to work under pressure, handle stressful situations, and solve problems quickly Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate restaurant needs
Physical Requirements:
