Job Description

General Manager We are seeking an experienced, hands-on and highly motivated General Manager to oversee all aspects of restaurant operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, team development, financial performance, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. This position is responsible for managing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations while ensuring profitability, efficiency, and adherence to company standards. Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, inspire and motivate restaurant staff to achieve operational excellence. Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and develop team members. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and support. Foster a positive, professional, and guest-focused work environment. Ensure all employees follow company policies, procedures, and service standards. Operations Management Oversee daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations. Schedule and supervise shifts to ensure appropriate staffing levels. Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and customer service. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations. Address guest concerns promptly and professionally. Financial Performance Manage labor costs, food costs, and operating expenses to meet budget goals. Monitor inventory levels and oversee food, beverage, and supply ordering. Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve profitability. Manage cash handling procedures and financial controls. Review operational reports, P&L and implement corrective actions when needed. Inventory & Purchasing Maintain accurate food, beverage, and supply inventories. Ensure proper ordering, receiving, and storage procedures. Monitor usage trends and adjust inventory levels based on business demands. Administrative Duties Complete required reports and documentation accurately and on time. Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with payroll and onboarding procedures. Coordinate restaurant maintenance, repairs, and facility needs. Communicate effectively with ownership and leadership teams regarding operational performance and business needs. Community & Marketing Support local marketing initiatives and lead community outreach efforts. Develop relationships with local businesses and organizations. Lead catering execution, opportunities and special events to drive sales growth. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience; General Manager experience preferred. Strong leadership, hospitality, communication, and team-building skills. Proven ability to manage labor, food costs, and overall restaurant profitability. Experience with inventory management, scheduling, and financial reporting. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, inspire others and lead by example. Strong problem-solving, action oriented and decision-making abilities. Proficiency with restaurant POS systems and basic computer applications. Requirements Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform physical tasks associated with restaurant operations.
