The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently processing transactions. This role is essential in creating a positive dining experience for our guests, ensuring that all orders are taken accurately and payments are processed smoothly. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with menu selections. Accurately process customer transactions using the POS system. Handle credit and debit transactions with precision. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station. Assist in food preparation and serving as needed to support kitchen staff. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Support banquet operations by assisting with setup and breakdown as required. Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems, such as Square POS or Toast POS, is a plus. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential. Experience in culinary or kitchen settings is advantageous. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Guest services experience within hospitality or hotel settings is beneficial. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and serving.
