Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to oversee daily operations within a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food preparation, restaurant management, and customer service. This role requires a proactive approach to team management, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. The Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining high-quality service, managing staff, and supporting the overall success of the establishment. Duties Lead and supervise daily restaurant operations, including casual dining, fine dining, catering, and banquet services. Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring quality standards are met consistently. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Control inventory levels, monitor stock usage, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment. Train and develop staff on food safety, customer service, food handling, and operational procedures. Supervise kitchen management, food production, and catering services to ensure efficiency and quality. Handle shift management by scheduling staff, assigning duties, and ensuring smooth workflow during peak hours. Conduct interviews and participate in hiring decisions to build a competent team. Monitor compliance with health regulations and safety standards across all departments. Assist in budgeting, cost control, and overall food service management to optimize operational performance. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, leadership development, and excellent customer service. Requirements Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality management roles with supervising experience. Strong background in food industry operations including food preparation, culinary experience, and kitchen management. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required. Experience in managing staff training & development programs along with team management skills. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling and sanitation. Previous experience in casual dining, fine dining, catering, or banquet environments is highly desirable. Leadership qualities with excellent communication skills; ability to interview candidates effectively. Ability to manage shift schedules efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service. Background in budgeting, inventory control, food production, and hospitality operations preferred. Pay:
$15.00 - $30.00 per hour
