Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. This pivotal role combines culinary expertise with strong management skills to ensure exceptional food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. As a Kitchen Manager, you will drive efficiency, maintain high standards of food handling and safety, and foster a positive team environment that encourages growth and excellence. Duties Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs. Supervise kitchen staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and conducting performance evaluations to develop a skilled team. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations through regular inspections and staff training on proper procedures. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours. Support restaurant management initiatives like budgeting, food production planning, catering services, and special event execution. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurants. Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Excellent inventory control skills with the ability to manage food handling procedures responsibly. Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training & development in a hospitality or restaurant environment. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality management principles. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, effective communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities seamlessly. Familiarity with food safety regulations, budgeting processes, and food industry standards across casual dining or fine dining settings.
