Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) operations at our vibrant steakhouse. This pivotal role requires a passionate leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments and is dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Restaurant Manager, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, manage staff, ensure food safety standards, and uphold our commitment to outstanding customer service. Your leadership will drive team performance, optimize food and beverage quality, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Duties Lead and motivate FOH and BOH teams to deliver top-tier service and culinary excellence in a lively steakhouse setting. Manage daily restaurant operations, including shift scheduling, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling procedures to guarantee quality standards are met consistently. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Conduct staff training, development sessions, and performance evaluations to foster a skilled and motivated team. Monitor food production, kitchen workflow, and catering or banquet services to ensure seamless service delivery. Implement budgeting strategies, control costs, and optimize resource utilization to meet financial goals. Supervise hiring processes including interviewing candidates for roles in food service management, culinary positions, or hospitality management. Uphold food safety standards through regular training on sanitation practices and proper food handling procedures. Enhance customer satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and ensuring a welcoming dining environment. Qualifications Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurants with strong leadership skills in team management and supervising staff. Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within casual dining or fine dining environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential. Demonstrated ability in inventory control, food safety compliance, budgeting, and food industry best practices. Previous experience in hospitality management or restaurant experience with a focus on customer service excellence. Strong organizational skills with the ability to oversee shift management, staff training & development, and operational workflows. Excellent communication skills for interviewing candidates and providing clear direction to team members. Culinary experience or hotel experience is a plus; familiarity with catering or banquet services is advantageous.
