The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, controlling inventory, and maintaining a smooth and efficient restaurant environment. The Subway Manager will play a key role in upholding the brand's reputation for quality and service excellence. In addition to the base pay there is potential for monthly bonuses based on store operations. Responsibilities Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and food handling to ensure quality standards are met. Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to foster a motivated and efficient team. Oversee POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and sales tracking. Control inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food production to minimize waste and optimize costs. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Monitor shift performance, address customer concerns promptly, and ensure excellent customer service experiences. Conduct interviews, hire new team members, and participate in staff training programs. Implement operational policies related to hospitality management, kitchen management, and food service procedures. Assist in budgeting, sales analysis, and operational planning to meet business goals. Lead by example in maintaining a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth. Qualifications Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments. Strong background in food preparation, culinary techniques, and food safety standards. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in hospitality or restaurant management roles. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally. Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food production processes. Ability to train staff effectively and manage shift operations efficiently. Previous experience in hotel or catering environments is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and develop team members. A background in hospitality management or culinary arts is preferred; experience in barista or coffee service is advantageous but not required.
