Job Description
Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Bar Coordinator to lead our bar team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure the highest standards of service, quality, and safety. Your leadership will drive the success of our bar environment, creating a positive atmosphere that encourages teamwork and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional passionate about beverage service, team management, and marketing excellence. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all bar operations, including staff scheduling, training, and performance management to ensure smooth daily functioning. Hands on beverage service, maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and safety compliance. Create crafted drink menus. Manage inventory control by ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability. Operate Square POS system for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Ensure memberships are accurately handled. Train staff on customer service excellence, safe handling procedures, and proper use of equipment. Coordinate with management for events, ordering, and staffing. Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management with a focus on bar operations. Strong background in supervising teams within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments. Knowledge of technical systems including Square POS system and excel spreadsheets. Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and food safety standards in a bar setting. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, develop, and motivate staff effectively. Familiarity with culinary techniques such as food preparation, cooking, and food handling procedures. Previous hotel or fine dining experience is a plus!
