Responsibilities Assist the management team in overseeing all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff coordination. Supervise and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. Manage shift schedules, assign duties, and ensure smooth workflow during busy hours to maximize efficiency. Oversee inventory control processes, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems; ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed. Support staff training and development initiatives to enhance skills in food handling, cooking techniques, and customer service excellence. Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations related to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards. Participate in interviewing potential candidates to build a strong team aligned with the restaurant's service standards. Maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, hospitality management best practices, and continuous improvement. Enforcing company policies and procedures as well as following all policies and procedures. Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training & development, supervising teams, and managing shifts effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a passion for hospitality management and ensuring guest satisfaction. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under pressure. Previous assistant manager experience preferred; hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates confidently and foster a collaborative team environment.
