Job Description
Position Summary The Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations while delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role is hands-on and leadership-focused, requiring strong communication skills, operational awareness, and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Support the General Manager in daily operations and floor leadership Lead shifts to ensure service standards, guest satisfaction, and efficiency Assist with hiring, training, coaching, and performance management Handle guest concerns professionally and effectively Support scheduling, labor management, and shift coverage Ensure compliance with company policies, health, and safety standards Maintain a positive, respectful team culture Oversee opening and closing procedures as assigned Collaborate with kitchen and bar leadership to ensure smooth service Skills & Qualifications Previous restaurant or hospitality management experience preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to multitask and make decisions under pressure Guest-focused mindset with attention to detail Experience with POS systems and basic administrative tasks Reliable, organized, and solution-oriented Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
