Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Restaurant Assistant Manager and play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences! This energetic position offers the opportunity to lead a vibrant team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure food quality and safety standards are met, and foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff alike. Duties Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff and ensuring smooth shift transitions Support food preparation and kitchen management to maintain high culinary standards and efficient food production Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food safety protocols to minimize waste and ensure compliance Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Train, develop, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service and uphold brand standards Supervise food handling, catering, bar service, and quick service operations to ensure quality and safety standards are met Participate in interviewing potential staff, conducting staff training sessions, and supporting team development initiatives Skills Proven experience in restaurant management with a strong background in food service management and hospitality management Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management practices Skilled in POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing Demonstrated supervisory experience with a focus on team management, training & development, and shift management Strong understanding of food safety regulations, inventory control, budgeting, and food handling procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs in casual dining or fine dining environments Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, foster a positive work environment, and drive operational excellence This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your career within the food industry while making a positive impact on guests' experiences.
