Zeppe's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard About Zeppe's At Zeppe's, our priorities are simple: Quick Kind Clean We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and energetic General Manager to lead the daily operations of our Idaho Falls location. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building a positive team culture, leading young employees, and creating a fun, fast-paced customer experience. Position Overview The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily restaurant operations, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining food quality and cleanliness standards, and leading a team primarily made up of high school and young adult employees. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, calm under pressure, and capable of coaching and developing staff while maintaining high operational standards. Responsibilities Oversee all daily restaurant operations Hire, train, schedule, coach, and when necessary, terminate employees Lead and supervise a team primarily made up of high school staff Maintain Zeppe's standards of being Quick, Kind, and Clean Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally Manage inventory, ordering, and product rotation Oversee product production and quality control Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently followed Maintain store cleanliness inside and outside the building Monitor labor costs and staffing levels Handle cash management, deposits, and daily reporting Create staff schedules and ensure shift coverage Conduct employee performance reviews and ongoing coaching Help create a positive, upbeat, and accountable work environment Coordinate maintenance and ensure equipment is functioning properly Assist with local marketing and community engagement efforts Ensure compliance with company policies and health department regulations Qualifications Previous restaurant, retail, or management experience preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Comfortable managing and mentoring teenagers and young employees Dependable, organized, and self-motivated Strong problem-solving skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds Food safety certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Compensation & Schedule $50,000 per year salaried position Full-time Varied work hours are required and may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours based on business needs Benefits Performance bonus opportunities Flexible scheduling Employee discounts Opportunity for advancement and growth Fun and team-oriented work environment To Apply Please submit your resume along with a brief description of your management experience and why you would be a great fit for Zeppe's Italian Ice & Custard.
