Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead our dynamic food service team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Your leadership will drive team performance, streamline processes, and foster a welcoming environment that keeps guests coming back. Duties Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, and shift management to ensure smooth service delivery. Lead staff training and development initiatives to uphold service excellence and food safety standards. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to guarantee consistency and quality in every dish served. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Control inventory levels through effective stock management, ordering, and waste reduction strategies. Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety protocols across all kitchen and front-of-house activities. Supervise food production processes including catering, banquets, and casual dining services to meet diverse guest needs. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels. Monitor financial performance by managing budgets, controlling costs, and optimizing operational efficiency. Qualifications Proven management experience within the food industry, particularly in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management with a focus on food safety and handling. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required. Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training & development capabilities. Excellent customer service skills with a passion for hospitality management. Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food production processes including catering and banquet services. Experience in managing diverse teams within a hospitality or hotel environment is preferred. Ability to lead shift management efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
