In this energetic role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional food quality, and deliver outstanding customer service. Your passion for food preparation, team management, and hospitality will inspire your staff to create a welcoming environment that keeps customers coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead in a fast-paced, food-focused setting while honing your management skills and culinary talents. Duties Lead and supervise all deli operations, including food preparation, milk cooking, and presentation to ensure high standards of quality and freshness Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices Oversee POS systems for accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting Train, develop, and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards Coordinate shift management to ensure smooth daily operations, including staffing schedules and task delegation Maintain compliance with health regulations and safety protocols related to food handling and kitchen operations Support special events such as catering or banquets by preparing food items and managing kitchen logistics Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or managing a quick service or fast food restaurant environment Strong background in inventory control, food safety practices, and kitchen management Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling experience required Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in hospitality or restaurant settings Excellent customer service skills with the ability to train and develop team members effectively Knowledge of food industry standards including culinary techniques, food production, and sanitation regulations Previous experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles preferred; hospitality management background is a plus Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This role is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about culinary excellence and team leadership.
