Main Responsibilities Lead, train, schedule, and supervise Service Deli associates to ensure appropriate staffing and strong performance. Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming, positive experience for every customer. Plan and oversee daily food production, inventory levels, and product availability. Prepare, merchandise, and maintain high‑quality hot and cold deli items, displays, and cases. Address and resolve customer questions or concerns professionally and efficiently. Operate and oversee the use of deli equipment, including slicers, scales, and food preparation tools. Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, temperature controls, and weights and measures regulations. Manage ordering, stocking, rotation, and presentation of deli products. Support sales through product knowledge, sampling, and promotion of deli offerings. We are looking for candidates who possess the following: Soft Skills Customer‑focused with a friendly and approachable demeanor Clear, professional verbal communication skills Ability to lead, coach, and motivate others Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast‑paced environment Positive attitude and teamwork mindset Competencies Team leadership and associate supervision Daily production planning and execution Inventory management and ordering Cash handling and register operations Compliance with food safety and sanitation standards Time management and multitasking Knowledge Deli products including meats, cheeses, hot foods, salads, and prepared items Food safety, sanitation, and temperature control requirements Retail customer service standards Product pricing, portioning, and merchandising Basic sales reporting and department operations Abilities Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and company procedures Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to analyze information and make sound decisions Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout a work shift Ability to safely lift, push, and pull deli products and equipment Educational Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Travel Requirements No regular travel required Other Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Successful completion of required food safety and company certification tests Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Regular and dependable attendance Compliance with company uniform, grooming, and conduct standards We also provide a variety of benefits including: Competitive wages paid weekly • Access to up to 50% of your earned wages before payday, via our partnership with Stream Associate discounts Health and financial well-being benefits for eligible associates (Medical, Dental, 401k and more!)
