Job Description
Job Summary Babbo Sghetti's is looking for a reliable, motivated, and organized Full-Time Food Truck Manager to lead daily operations for our food truck. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys fast-paced food service, leading a small team, serving great customers, and taking ownership of day-to-day operations. The Food Truck Manager will be responsible for managing food truck service, maintaining food quality, overseeing staff, handling inventory, keeping the truck clean and organized, and ensuring every customer has a great experience. Responsibilities Manage daily food truck operations from setup to closing Lead, train, and support food truck team members Prepare and serve Babbo Sghetti's menu items according to company standards Maintain excellent customer service during busy service periods Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards are followed at all times Track inventory and communicate supply needs Assist with ordering, stocking, and product rotation Handle cash, POS transactions, and basic sales reporting Keep the truck clean, organized, and ready for service Monitor food quality, portioning, presentation, and consistency Help with scheduling, staffing, and shift coordination Represent Babbo Sghetti's professionally at all events and service locations Troubleshoot basic operational issues and communicate with ownership/management Requirements Food Manager ServSafe certification required Previous restaurant, food truck, kitchen, or food service management experience preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working in a food truck setting Strong attention to cleanliness, food safety, and customer service Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Must be available for full-time hours, including some evenings and weekends as needed Preferred Qualifications Experience managing a small food service team Experience with POS systems and cash handling Kitchen management or shift lead experience Strong organizational skills Ability to stay calm and efficient during rushes Benefits Starting pay of $20/hour Leadership position with room to grow Fun, fast-paced work environment Opportunity to help build and grow the Babbo Sghetti's food truck operation Schedule Full-time schedule.
