Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Bar & Restaurant Manager to lead our dynamic service team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness. Your leadership will drive team performance, optimize restaurant efficiency, and foster a welcoming environment that keeps guests coming back. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all Bar & restaurant activities, including drink/food preparation, service delivery, and staff management to ensure smooth daily operations. Manage inventory control processes, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to maximize profitability. Oversee POS systems such as Toast POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Hire, Train, mentor, and develop staff members in food handling, customer service standards, safety procedures, and operational best practices. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the restaurant. Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to promote positive guest experiences. Assist in budgeting, shift management, and scheduling to optimize labor costs while maintaining excellent service levels. Requirements Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with a focus on food industry operations. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management with fine dining or casual dining experience preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential. Demonstrated supervising experience with skills in staff training & development and team management. Knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control procedures, and food handling regulations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment. Previous experience in hospitality management or restaurant management roles including shift management and food production oversight is highly desirable.
