Job Description

Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. This pivotal role combines management expertise with culinary passion, ensuring exceptional food quality, safety standards, and efficient service in a fast-paced environment. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food preparation, inventory control, staff training, and customer satisfaction, all while fostering a positive team culture that drives success. Duties Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations, including shift management and team coordination Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation meet brand standards Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices Implement and uphold food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations and company policies Train and develop team members on cooking techniques, food handling, POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and customer service excellence Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems and oversee cash handling procedures during shifts Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery in both casual dining and quick service environments Requirements Proven experience in restaurant management with a focus on kitchen operations within fast food, casual dining, or fine dining settings Strong culinary background with expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food production processes Demonstrated supervisory experience with skills in staff training, interviewing, and team management Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and health regulations applicable to the food industry Ability to manage inventory control efficiently while maintaining budgetary goals Excellent leadership qualities with a passion for hospitality management and customer service excellence Experience in catering, banquet operations or hotel food service is a plus; hospitality or restaurant experience preferred Benefits Paid time off 401k including company match
