Position Summary The General Manager leads all aspects of daily restaurant operations to deliver an outstanding guest experience, a thriving team culture, and strong financial results. This role requires a hands-on leader who can inspire, coach, and develop team members while ensuring operational excellence, food safety, and brand integrity. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Oversee all in-store operations, including staffing, scheduling, training, inventory management, equipment maintenance, and cash handling. Ensure compliance with Jersey Mike's operational standards, food safety regulations, and cleanliness requirements. Implement systems and procedures with integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Team Development Recruit, interview, hire, and train high-performing team members. Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and formal performance reviews. Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and positivity. Guest Experience Foster a welcoming, energetic, and service-focused environment. Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally. Lead by example in delivering friendly, engaging, and personalized service. Financial Performance Manage food, labor, and operating costs to achieve profitability goals. Monitor daily sales, track key performance metrics, and implement strategies to drive revenue and control expenses. Accurately complete and submit all financial and administrative reports. Community Engagement Represent Jersey Mike's in local marketing efforts and community events. Build strong connections with guests, local organizations, and the surrounding neighborhood. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of restaurant or QSR management experience. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution and emotional intelligence. Proficiency with POS systems, scheduling tools, and basic computer applications. Must be 18 years or older, possess a valid driver's license, and have reliable transportation.
