ECHO is hiring a 1st Shift Production Assembly Group Lead! The Production Assembly Group Lead will oversee and direct workers engaged in repetitive tasks, ensuring they follow specific instructions and work specifications provided by the Manufacturing Supervisor. They motivate the team to meet production standards, identify and address delays or quality issues, and assist workers in resolving unique challenges. The Group Lead assigns and explains tasks, inspects tools and equipment, and evaluates completed work. They are responsible for training employees and ensuring the quality and quantity of the final output. Additionally, they maintain a safe work environment and recommend disciplinary actions to the Supervisor when necessary. 1st Shift M-F 6:00am-3:15pm starting at $18.50/HR! Duties/Responsibilities:
Train and motivate assigned workers to consistently ensure 100% quality. Treat employees with respect while acting in the best interest of the company. Collaborate with the supervisor on timecard management and attendance issues. Hold line workers accountable for meeting productivity standards. Follow proper containment procedures and conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrence, working with Quality Control (QC) and Manufacturing Engineering as needed. Conduct daily quality meetings with all employees to communicate ongoing quality issues and critical emission component identifications. Perform daily quality audits on each line to verify worker performance, material control, and compliance with all operational standards. Verify Bills of Material (BOMs) at each line changeover and at the beginning of each shift. Maintain the Emission Component ID checklist daily. Collaborate with the supervisor to suggest and implement changes to improve Direct Labor Efficiency. Monitor worker performance and identify bottleneck operations throughout the day to maintain consistent hourly output, coordinating personnel adjustments with the supervisor as needed. Identify, report, and follow up on any potential safety hazards, proactively ensuring a safe work environment. Ensure all components and units are properly stored, labeled, and maintained in the correct locations. Uphold the highest standards of housekeeping and cleanliness at all times. Perform additional duties and assignments as required to support the department's and company's overall operations.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required 3+ years of experience leading, training, and motivating assembly line employees. English required; bilingual in English and Spanish a plus Proficiency in computers and programs, including Microsoft Outlook.
