Kitchen Manager / Gerente de Cocina Hitz Pub & Eatery

  • Hitz Pub & Eatery is looking for a strong, hands-on Kitchen Manager to lead daily kitchen operations, maintain food quality, manage kitchen staff, and ensure a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Hitz Pub & Eatery está buscando un Gerente de Cocina dinámico y práctico para liderar las operaciones diarias de la cocina, mantener la calidad de los alimentos, supervisar al personal y asegurar un ambiente limpio, organizado y eficiente.
Responsibilities Oversee daily kitchen operations and food preparation Manage and train kitchen staff Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all menu items Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards Monitor inventory, ordering, and food costs Create prep lists and manage kitchen organization Work closely with ownership and front-of-house management Maintain a positive, professional, and team-focused environment Responsabilidades Supervisar las operaciones diarias y la preparación de alimentos Dirigir, entrenar y apoyar al personal de cocina Asegurar consistencia, calidad y presentación de los platillos Mantener limpieza, sanitización y normas de seguridad alimentaria Controlar inventario, pedidos y costos de alimentos Crear listas de preparación y mantener la organización de la cocina Trabajar junto con los dueños y el equipo de piso Mantener un ambiente profesional, positivo y enfocado en el trabajo en equipo Qualifications Previous kitchen management experience preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Flexible schedule including nights and weekends Requisitos Experiencia previa en manejo de cocina preferida Habilidades sólidas de liderazgo y comunicación Capacidad para trabajar en un ambiente de ritmo rápido Conocimiento de seguridad alimentaria y sanitización Persona responsable, organizada y detallista Disponibilidad para trabajar noches y fines de semana
