Control inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and manage ordering processes to minimize waste and optimize food costs. Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Ensure compliance with health regulations, safety protocols, and sanitation standards to maintain a safe environment for staff and guests. Foster a positive team environment by supervising staff performance, conducting interviews, and supporting professional growth. Skills Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling across various dining formats including casual, fine dining, or quick service restaurants. Proven management skills with experience supervising teams in hospitality or food service settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Expertise in inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management to maximize profitability. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and promptly. Familiarity with food safety standards such as HACCP or local health regulations. Leadership qualities with experience in staff training, development, and performance evaluation in restaurant environments.
