Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Restaurant Manager. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences while maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and staff performance. Your leadership will drive the success of our casual dining or quick service environment, fostering a positive and efficient workplace that delights guests and motivates team members alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your management skills in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused setting. Duties Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, and shift management to ensure smooth daily functions Lead food preparation and kitchen management activities, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and quality control protocols Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food production to minimize waste and optimize costs Supervise staff training and development programs to enhance team skills in food handling, customer service, and operational procedures Handle cash handling responsibilities using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash reconciliation and financial reporting Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere Coordinate with kitchen staff on food presentation, cooking standards, and special dietary requests to deliver a memorable dining experience Qualifications Proven management experience within the food industry, particularly in quick service, casual dining, or fine dining environments Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for transaction processing and reporting Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training, team management, and interviewing skills Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and hygiene standards Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management Excellent leadership abilities combined with exceptional customer service skills Previous experience in catering, banquet operations or hotel food service is a plus Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively •
