Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a talented and experienced Asst Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, and overseeing kitchen operations while ensuring a positive work environment for your team. Duties Lead and manage the kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Oversee all aspects of food production, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen. Manage inventory control and ordering of supplies to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Develop and implement new recipes and menu items that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences. Supervise catering events and banquets, ensuring exceptional service and presentation. Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food handling, and safety practices. Collaborate with restaurant management to create seasonal menus that enhance guest satisfaction. Monitor food costs and waste management to maintain profitability while delivering high-quality dishes. Experience Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the culinary industry. Extensive knowledge of fine dining practices, catering services, and restaurant management. Strong background in food production, menu planning, and inventory management. Experience supervising kitchen staff with demonstrated team management skills. Familiarity with dietary department operations is a plus. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on training and developing culinary talent. Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment. Previous experience in banquet service or large-scale catering is highly desirable. Culinary degree or relevant certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
