Job Description

TITLE OF POSITION
Warehouse Shift Manager
REPORTS TO
Warehouse Manager
JOB PURPOSE
To oversee all aspects of warehouse operations and provide leadership, guidance to warehouse personnel for a specific shift.
JOB RESULTS
Provides work leadership, guidance and training to personnel. Reviews and conducts personnel issues, including performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, etc. to all shift personnel, consulting with Warehouse Manager and Human Resources if necessary. Solves complex work related problems. Distributes, coordinates and reviews work assignments of personnel. Ensures accurate and timely receiving, stocking, pulling and delivery of product. Responsible for the safe operation of handling equipment. Establishes and maintains quality standards and work ethics. Controls payroll cost and hours to achieve incentive goals. Constantly monitors quality of work put out by employees to ensure incentive goals are met on OS and Ds.
REQUIREMENTS
Associates degree or 18 to 36 months of job-related training. Ability to lift 50-60 pounds. Three to four years management and/or warehouse experience helpful. Excellent interpersonal and organization skills.
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
